Over a period of nine months, the POM collective worked with youth from four Montreal rehabilitation centers to co-produce these two audio slideshows. Together, they scripted, photographed and put into words the messages they wanted to convey.

I Got Away

Over the course of ten research and creation workshops, five youths staying at the Mont-Saint-Antoine rehabilitation centre in Montreal put their experiences of running away into words and images.

Standing Up

Whom can I trust, and how can I ensure my safety? Guided by these questions, nine youths from the Dominique-Savio, Cité-des-Prairies, and Rose-Virginie-Pelletier rehabilitation centres let their imaginations run wild to co-create a poetic audio slideshow, in collaboration with illustrator Lav Pech Sambour.
