2023 Update<\/strong><\/h1>\n

\n\t\t2023 Overhaul\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

The visual overhaul of the site, along with the updates to its content and the development of digital tools, were coordinated by the Fugues, Sexo and Toxico support structure of the Youth Program Department at the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’\u00cele-de-Montr\u00e9al. These initiatives were strongly supported by the community liaison officer of En Marge 12-17, in partnership with the POM team at Oxy-Jeunes. This project is intended for youth, their parents and youth workers, and aims to give them the tools they need. It is part of the 2018 action plan Les fugues en centre de r\u00e9adaptation pour jeunes en difficult\u00e9 d’adaptation: Pr\u00e9venir pour mieux intervenir<\/em>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"Tu\n\t\t\t\t\"Contenu\n

\n\t\tApproach\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

This multimedia content is the result of a collaboration between the POM collective and some twenty youths placed under the care of youth protection or in contact with the En Marge 12-17 community resource. From this pool of knowledge emerged the photographs that illustrate this site, the texts and images for the videos, as well as the script and visuals for the interactive experience.<\/p>\n

A community program aimed at introducing participants to the media arts, POM (Petites \u0152uvres Multim\u00e9dias<\/em>) helps them discover storytelling and the narrative tools of photography, writing, sound, and video. POM’s artistic and educational approach is based on knowledge sharing and co-learning, from ideation to post-production.<\/p>\n

The Youth Program Department at the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’\u00cele-de-Montr\u00e9al received funding from the Ministry of Health and Social Services to revamp the visual design of youthrunaway.ca, as well as update its content and develop digital tools.
